Local Header CHANGED
PUBS

The towns bordering the river have always had many pubs. North Shields alone has had more than 400 since 1800. Like many businesses there have always been closures as tastes and finances change. Since 2000 there seem to have been many more closures than openings, so this is to document some of the recent changes. There have been many more, but I have, mostly, only used places where the building was still standing when I took the photo.
