City of St. Petersburg (Panama) is the first of a new fleet of streamlined 'energy efficient' vessels set to transport Nissan's new electric vehicle the "Leaf" - February 2011
- followed in August 2011 by the City of Rotterdam  (Panama)
In December 2015 City of Rotterdam collided with DFDS Primula Seaways in the Humber Estuary The hole was temporarily patched and the ship returned to A & P Tyne yard where it finally sailed 'good as new' at an estimated cost of $3 million
